Kinder World is a mobile game of houseplants, healing and practicing kindness. ❤️
Take care of your plants and yourself in a relaxing and lush atmosphere of your own design, completing daily acts of self-love that make the world a kinder place.
Players will nurture their plants in-game by nurturing themselves in the real world, completing evidence-based wellbeing exercises like stretching, breathing, and expressing
gratitude.
Every plant in Kinder World is procedurally generated, so your growth is completely unique to you!
As Kinder World develops further, players will be able to share supportive messages and plant cuttings with other players as a way to practice showing kindness to others,
while growing the Community Tree, shaped by in-game events and player choices.
It’s only by nurturing ourselves, like a houseplant, that we can make the world a better place for all of us. With your support, we can work together to create a truly

Gameplay in Kinder World is designed for a slower pace, without pressure or competition. Players are able to water or fertilize their plants by doing a calming daily
exercise of their choice, depending on the plant species they’re caring for. Some of our influences include games like Animal Crossing, Neko Atsume, Tabikaeru (旅かえる) and
Tsuki Adventure.
We have partnered with kindness expert and Clinical Psychologist Dr Tara Cousineau (Ph.D) to ensure that our approach develops kindness for the self and others in measurable
ways. The game design of Kinder World follows the PEPPIE framework (Presence, Emotion regulation, Perspective, Purpose, Integration and Effort) and other leading research to
help players develop these skills.
While playing Kinder World isn’t a replacement for therapy, our gameplay is designed as a good concrete practice alongside professional support and you can tailor your
experience for where you’re at personally. In future, we plan to add content and activities focused on stretching, relaxation skills, confidence and more.
