HTMLSpyII permits detailed examination of the HTML and HTTP code of a WebSite.
HTMLSpyII presents a MainView with access to six working Activities each with contextual Help: Connectivity, CodeView, JsoupView, WebView, FtpView, and File Manager, all
accessed through a ToolBar Menu Spinner control.
The help text is written using HTML and works with Google Translate, so you can with a few taps translate the help to any language known to Google... just choose your
language from the drop-down list. There are links on my website that permit you to translate the Play Store description and help files into any language known to Google.
From my website* click on Android, then on HTMLSpyII...

*This WebSite works very well from a desktop computer, but not so well from a phone or tablet device.
Connectivity has options for retrieving technical data about the HTTP URL Connection to a website including ping, Mobile Data/Wifi, Header Fields and Host Names.
CodeView displays the HTML code of the website. There are options to manage URL Redirects. There are search options to scan the text and the HTML code. This search includes
the meta code; for example, if you want to learn if the page contains an HTML VIEWPORT tag, enter "viewport" as the token.
JsoupView provides code analysis and website scraping with access to website icon, title, description, keywords, links, imports, media, forms, meta, images, PrettyPrinted
HTML code, and URL Redirects. More to come in next updates :)
WebView allows you to run any web browser without leaving the HTMLSpyii environment, so you can easily switch back and forth. Links are provided to three popular browsers:
Chrome, FireFox and Opera with a procedure to link any other browser you may wish to use.
FtpView allows you to run any ftp client without leaving the HTMLSpyii environment, so you can easily switch back and forth. Links are provided to three popular clients
PowerFtp, AndFtp and FtpCafe with a procedure to link up any other Ftp client you may wish to use.
File Manager allows you to run any Android File Manager program without leaving the HTMLSpyii environment, so you can easily switch back and forth. Linkage is provided to a
few Android File Manager programs which can be found in various devices, and are usually named either Files or MyFiles, with a procedure to link up any other File Manager
program you may wish to use.
Additional Notes ...
• You need either Mobile Data or WiFi enabled to access the Help
• HTMLSpyII displays a progress indicator in the ToolBar during any on-line process. It may be seen momentarily when the the process is lengthy.
HTMLSpyII is being developed using Android Studio. All modules build with no errors. HTMLSpyII catches run-time conditions and handles each gracefully using a Dialog
Box.
