De Eerstelijns is in 2009 gestart als magazine en online community voor de samenwerkende eerstelijns zorgaanbieder. Vanaf 2010 is de eerste website
toegevoegd en zijn De Eerstelijns partners in het servicenetwerk opgenomen. In 2011 is het portfolio uitgebreid met congressen en bijeenkomsten als het Eerstelijns
Transparantiecongres, Het Eerstelijns Gala en Het Eerstelijns Substitutiecongres. Ook is gestructureerde samenwerking met kennisinstituten als ZonMW, Jan van Es, NIVEL en
Vilans aangegaan.
